Job Summary

Wexford Health Sources is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Danville Correctional Center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care to inmates, assisting with daily living activities, and promoting a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist nursing staff with daily operations, including vital sign checks, fluid intake and output monitoring, and reporting on inmate conditions.
  • Provide personal care to inmates, including feeding, bathing, and dressing, as assigned.
  • Follow established infection control practices and emergency protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist inmates with ambulation, turning, and repositioning, and promote patient hydration and elimination.
  • Prepare and maintain written reports and records as assigned, and maintain confidentiality of inmate records.
Requirements
  • Nursing Assistant certificate
  • Current CPR Certification (American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Safety and Health Institute)
  • 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Completion of a certification program from an accredited Nursing Assistant program
