Job Summary

As a Property Manager with First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc., you will play a critical role in maintaining our industrial facilities and ensuring that they operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining properties in good order and condition by contracting and scheduling necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Responsible for administrative activities such as completing lease paperwork, maintaining property records, preparing routine reports, tracking and processing accounting data.
  • Assisting in the negotiation of maintenance contracts with vendors and ensuring the quality of services provided.
  • Processing work orders, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and reconciling common area maintenance charges.
  • Preparing annual budgets for income, maintenance, and repair, and assisting in the preparation of leases and related correspondence.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or property management is preferred.
  • Approximately seven years or more experience in property management, leases, vendors, and tenant relations.
  • Good interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare accurate documentation and review, proofread, and check documentation for accuracy.
  • Computer skills necessary to enter and manipulate words and data, use standard software to communicate with others, and analyze data.

Estimated Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience. First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
