Porter/Custodian

Prestige Maintenance USA is seeking a skilled Porter/Custodian to join our team. As a Porter/Custodian, you will be responsible for ensuring that all types of buildings are neat, clean, free from clutter and safe.

• Empty wastebaskets and replace liners as needed
• Dust and clean tops of office furniture, desks, and tables
• Vacuum all carpets
• Spot clean soiled areas as needed
• Clean and sanitize toilets, basins, and urinals
• Clean counters, mirrors, and fixtures
• Sweep and damp mop floors with disinfectant
• Spot clean walls, partitions, and doors
• Refill all restroom dispensers as needed
• Wipe and clean all table tops and chairs
• Wipe and clean vending machines and appliances
• Clean sink and damp mop tile floors
• Sweep and spot mop tile floors

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 1-3 years of hands-on experience in a similar or related role
• Ability to read and communicate in English
• Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift, carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials up to 50 pounds
• Repetitive motion involved on a daily basis may include, but not limited to, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and squatting
• Ability to operate small power tools
• Requires stooping, kneeling, crawling, bending, turning, and reaching into areas not fully air-conditioned
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time to include climbing/descending stairwells and ladders
• Can work independently and in stressful environments
• Regular, consistent, and predictable attendance

• Listening and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of basic custodial duties and responsibilities
