Job Title: Registered ED Nurse

Emory Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Emory Decatur Hospital. As a Registered ED Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and personal preferences.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Georgia.
  • 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
  • BLS certification required; ACLS may be required in designated departments.
