The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dietary medical services and be able to coordinate meal preparation and serving with our Food Services Manager. This role requires independent judgment and discretion to analyze and specify dietary requirements for patients with special restrictions or nutritional needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate meal preparation and serving with the Food Services Manager
  • Analyze and specify dietary requirements for patients with special restrictions or nutritional needs

Qualifications:

  • Current, valid, and active license and/or certification to practice as a Registered Dietitian, in the state of employment required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • One (1) year of experience in the care of patients in hospital setting preferred

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

  • Demonstrates an understanding of treatment costs and financial support as they relate to quality and efficiency
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures

General Computer Skills:

  • Data entry, word processing, email, and record management
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
  • Ability to utilize the appropriate leadership skills in delegating, organizing, and educating coworkers and staff
