In this role, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to capture detailed images of patients' anatomy for diagnostic evaluation. Your focus will be on delivering patient-centered care while adhering to professional standards and ensuring outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities:

(90%) Patient Imaging Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient screenings prior to examinations, ensuring the correct identification and procedure.
  • Prepare patients for CT and Diagnostic and Therapeutic Injection (DTI) procedures, clearly explaining the process and positioning them for optimal imaging.
  • Execute routine and advanced imaging techniques on specified body areas, providing support and reassurance to patients throughout the procedure.
  • Adjust imaging parameters as necessary, applying dose reduction strategies when appropriate.
  • Foster positive working relationships with radiologists, referring physicians, and colleagues.
  • Adhere strictly to physician directives and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace, promoting safety for all.
  • Uphold ACR toolkit and accreditation standards.
  • Regularly inspect and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality.
  • Comply with all HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.

(5%) Departmental Support

  • Assist in the upkeep of the imaging protocol manual and software updates.
  • Monitor and manage medical supply inventory, requesting replenishments as needed.
  • Support the training of new staff, sharing expertise and resources as required.

(5%) Additional Responsibilities

  • Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
