Psychiatric Care Specialist

At Community Counseling Solutions, we are seeking a highly skilled Psychotherapy Professional to join our team of dedicated mental health specialists. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing culturally competent and appropriate behavioral health treatment to individuals served by our organization.
Job Overview:
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with other involved community partners and is expected to be professional in all aspects of service delivery. Additionally, this position assists administration in meeting the behavioral health needs of the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical services to residents, families, and community partners to provide timely and effective clinical interventions.
- Actively participate in joint case planning and coordination with agency employees and other community partners, families, and supports involved in the resident's care.
- Assist in making clinical decisions on all relevant aspects of customer care.
- Participate in group and individual supervision sessions.
- Conduct urinalysis testing and record pertinent information.
- Develop safety plans as required and report abuse to appropriate authorities.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in social work, psychology, or another human services-related field.
- Enrollment or willingness to enroll in a Master's program within 4 months of hire.
- Certification from the Department of Human Services as a Certified Mental Health Investigator.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and complete designated tasks in a thorough and timely fashion.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in software programs/systems.
Benefits and Compensation:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $54,930 - $80,265 annually. In addition to a salary, benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. The position requires a valid driver's license and personal auto insurance for privately owned vehicles used for CCS business purposes.
