Caregiver Advocate

At Home Helpers of Gainesville, VA, we are seeking a dedicated Overnight Caregiver to join our team. As an Overnight Caregiver, you will provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being during the night hours.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field. A compassionate and patient demeanor is essential for this role, as is excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and work independently.

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as preparing meals and feeding if necessary
• Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
• Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field preferred
• Compassionate and patient demeanor
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check

We offer a competitive salary of $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, plus benefits including 401(k), dental insurance, flexible schedule, health insurance, paid time off, referral program, and vision insurance.
