Job Title: Nurse Practitioner-PRN

The Office of Practice at East Tennessee State University is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a temporary basis. This position will be based in one of our Nurse Managed Clinics located in Hancock County.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide advanced practice primary care in compliance with the Tennessee Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities will include documenting all services, collaborating with other clinic staff and the clinic director, supervising staff as assigned, participating in quality assurance activities, and demonstrating a commitment to serving vulnerable populations.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in nursing with preparation in advanced practice nursing (FNP, ANP, PNP, or another specialty as required for specific position)
  • National certification in the appropriate area
  • Certificate of fitness to prescribe
  • Current unencumbered license as a registered nurse in Tennessee or a compact state
  • Experience as specified for each position
Working Conditions:

The physical demands of this position require the ability to position self and balance, move (including lift, carry, push, and pull) up to 100 pounds or more, perceive and respond to sounds and alarms, communicate effectively with others, and observe and monitor situations and details at close range in full and dimmed light.

Salary:

$39.00 per hour
