Job SummaryWe are looking for talented individuals to support our DevSecOps team in developing and deploying infrastructure as a service and a platform as a service capability.
Responsibilities- Work with leading DevOps practices and tooling (Hashicorp Tools, Gitlab CI/CD, Ansible Tower, and Nexus Pro)
- Support deployment of custom software solutions integrating COTS, GOTS, and developed software
- Propose system administration process improvement by working with the design team and manufacturers to reduce maintenance requirements
- Determine system requirements, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and system configuration maintenance
- Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies
- Develop and recommend corrective actions
- May provide technical guidance for database administrators and software developers
- Bachelor of Science in the Computer Science field (i.e. EE, CIS, CPE, MIS, IT) with 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience
- Experience with Linux or Windows System Administration
- Scripting skills in bash or PowerShell
- Experience with automation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools
- Must be able to work independently as an SME on large projects or in a collaborative team environment with other DevSecOps engineers, other program developments, and deployment teams
- Self-motivated and customer-oriented
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles
- Experience with Ansible Automation Platform, including Ansible Tower
- Experience with HashiCorp Packer and Vault
- Experience with Gitlab CI/CD
- Experience with Nexus
- Experience in virtualization technology, including, but not limited to, VMware
- Understanding of HP server configuration
- CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) DoD M IAT Level II Certification
- Understanding of the software development life cycle and experience with Agile methodology
Candidates must currently have and be able to maintain a minimum DoD SECRET level security clearance.
Salary Range$82,000 - $161,000
