Behavioral Health Nurse Opportunity
Avera McKennan Hospital and University Health Center, a Magnet-recognized institution, is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to join its Adult C Unit in the Behavioral Health Department. This dynamic team focuses on delivering exceptional patient care, emphasizing patient-centered approaches and collaboration.

About the Role:

This RN position involves caring for adults with various mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. The successful candidate will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to create a supportive environment that promotes healing and recovery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Care for adult patients with diverse mental health needs, including those experiencing suicidal behavior.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on mental health topics and self-management techniques.

Requirements:
