We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at O'Brien & Company. Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time and within budget.
- Site Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed safely and efficiently.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is being carried out to the required standards and that any defects or issues are addressed promptly.
- Safety Management: Ensure that all site personnel are aware of and comply with company safety policies and procedures, and that all necessary safety measures are in place to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other contractors, to ensure that all parties are informed and up-to-date on project progress.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the construction process, and implement solutions to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of subcontractors and site personnel. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other construction software applications.
