Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at ECHN. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing physical therapy services to help patients achieve optimal function and mobility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to determine the best course of treatment
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Provide physical therapy services, including exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques
  • Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and develop treatment plans
  • Supervise students and provide education to patients and families on proper exercise techniques and functional activities
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a minimum of a B.S.
  • Current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy
  • Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Personal computer skills and proficiency in Windows-based programs
  • Reliable transportation to travel between multiple work sites
