Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated educator to join our team as a High School Spanish Teacher. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to inspire and empower the next generation, while also making a meaningful impact on your own career.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning and teaching 4 classes per day, including responding to the individual needs of students.
  • Collaborating with co-teachers, SpEd/ELL specialists, and other specialists to deliver high quality, differentiated instruction.
  • Providing targeted feedback on student work to drive student engagement.
  • Designing, implementing, or internalizing standards-aligned curriculum and materials.
  • Communicating with students, families, and school leaders around academic and behavioral progress.
  • Building relationships with students and supporting their character development.
  • Attending key whole-school events and participating in weekly staff professional development.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's or Graduate Degree in a related area of study.
  • A passing score on the Communications & Literacy MTEL, as well as a MTEL in the content area(s) they teach within their first year of employment.
  • An SEI Endorsement (core academic and special education teachers only) as defined by DESE, within their first year of employment.
