Job Summary

Our Occupational Therapist will assess clients/patients/residents and design personalized occupational therapy treatments. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to our clients/patients/residents. Your expertise will help our clients/patients/residents to overcome physical, cognitive, and behavioral challenges and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial abilities of clients/patients/residents
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy programs to promote independence and functional abilities
  • Provide education and training to clients/patients/residents and their families on daily living skills and occupational therapy techniques
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Document client/patient/resident information and progress
Requirements

To be successful as an Occupational Therapist at the Good Samaritan Society, you will need:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Licensure in the state(s) of practice as an Occupational Therapist
  • Certification through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) (when applicable)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
