Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Ryder System in Waukesha, WI. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems
  • Perform facility maintenance duties
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaints
  • Perform other support duties as required
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A, preferred
  • Ability to obtain CDL within 6 months of hire

  • Average weekly pay: $1100
  • Hourly pay: $27.50 per hour
  • Monday-Friday schedule with weekends off
  • Second shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
