We are looking for a committed and skilled Registered Nurse to become a vital part of our healthcare team at Mission Box Solutions. In this position, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive patient care, encompassing all stages from initial assessment to final evaluation. Your responsibilities will include prescribing, delegating, coordinating, supervising, and assessing patient education and the activities of ancillary nursing staff, all while adhering to the highest professional nursing standards.
Key Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent program.
- Preferred experience of at least twelve (12) months in a relevant nursing role.
- Possession of a current nursing license or permit to practice in the State of Texas.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Certification to be obtained within two (2) weeks of employment.
- Medication Competence required within two (2) weeks of employment.
- Computer Competence to be achieved within four (4) weeks of employment.
- Completion of Medication Examination within twelve (12) weeks of employment.
- Basic Dysrhythmia training (if applicable) to be completed within twelve (12) weeks of employment.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) to be completed within six (6) months of employment if hired in MICU or Neuro ICU.
- Critical Care Classes and Examinations to be completed within sixteen (16) weeks of employment.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification to be obtained within sixteen (16) weeks of employment.
- Phlebotomy/Point of Care Competency to be achieved within four (4) weeks of employment.
