Cleveland Clinic's Cytopathology Laboratory is seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in evaluating gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens, working closely with our experienced Cytopathologists to provide accurate diagnoses.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cytotechnology, with a bachelor's degree in a related field and certification in cytotechnology. Experience in a high-complexity laboratory is a plus. You will be responsible for performing and reporting routine screening of GYN and non-GYN specimens, processing specimens for analysis, and documenting slide interpretation results.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and report routine screening of GYN and non-GYN specimens
- Process specimens for analysis according to specifications and the type of specimen
- Document slide interpretation results of each gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology case examined or reviewed
- Assume responsibility for quality control or quality assurance issues
- Maintain instruments and equipment in accordance with manufacturer's specifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or cytotechnology
- Certification in cytotechnology by a certifying agency approved by HHS
- Experience in a high-complexity laboratory (preferred)
