Job Summary

Fab-Tex, a leading medium/heavy duty truck service provider, is seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Fabricator to join its expanding service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and repair metal components using heavy machinery and welding techniques.
  • Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products to meet customer specifications.
  • Install and repair various equipment and component parts, including truck bodies, trailers, snowplows, and sanders.
  • Communicate effectively with management to ensure timely completion of tasks and address any challenges or difficulties.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working on trucks, trailers, or heavy equipment.
  • Proven experience in heavy-duty welding and fabrication.
  • Ability to provide own tools and equipment.
  • Experience working with heavy-duty trucks, trailers, plow frames, and other equipment.
  • High level of professionalism, motivation, focus, and organization.
  • Current and valid driver's license (CDL preferred).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment without compromising quality.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand, walk, grasp tools, hear, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Good vision and ability to work in a large facility with overhead cranes.
