Masonry Specialist

Position Summary

The Masonry Specialist is responsible for the installation and repair of various masonry materials including concrete, bricks, and blocks. This role requires a high level of skill and knowledge in masonry techniques and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for masonry work.
• Construct, modify, and maintain walls, sidewalks, and other structures using bricks and blocks.
• Follow blueprints and specifications to lay out work accurately.
• Utilize tools such as chalk lines and levels to ensure precision in construction.
• Mix and apply cement and other materials effectively.
• Cut and shape bricks and concrete as needed for specific projects.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts and dump trucks for transporting materials.
• Estimate the quantity of materials and labor required for projects.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of masonry tools and techniques.
• Proven ability in the construction and maintenance of masonry structures.
