Responsibilities- Manage a diverse caseload of business and employment litigation matters, including employment law, construction law, professional liability, business litigation, and commercial litigation.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on various legal matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
- Develop legal strategies and present oral and written legal opinions.
- Conduct legal discovery and gather evidence for trials.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and legal trends in the areas of business and employment litigation.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Current license to practice law in California.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment law, construction law, professional liability, business litigation, and commercial litigation in California.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Proven experience in legal discovery and drafting legal opinions.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
- Proficient in using legal research tools and software.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a high level of attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and confidentiality.
