IT Infrastructure Manager

Job Summary:

HCL Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead - Server Administration to join our team. As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of our Windows Server infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, manage, and perform hardware upgrades on Windows Servers
• Start and stop servers and vSphere as needed
• Patch management and apply service packs through WSUS and SCCM
• Ensure anti-virus updates and security compliance for servers
• Maintain all systems to defined security standards
• Perform break-fix tasks for IT equipment in the data center
• Maintain and implement PCN/SCADA/DMZ
• Schedule tasks, use Robocopy, CVX_UTIL, and reporting scripts, and SMTP
• Backup and restore servers using Acronis
• Manage Acronis Server
• Provide support using Halo Lens
• Troubleshoot and configure network printers, order supplies, and provide first-level support for AM and FM two-way radios
• Provide level 1 desk-side support for Chevron and third-party vendors
• Track assets and receive IT equipment at the site
• Escort hardware engineers or third-party visitors to server equipment locations as required
• Conduct safety training and communications
• Assist in hurricane contingency procedures
• Adhere to offshore platform safety policies and procedures

Mandatory Requirements:

• Willingness to work on an offshore platform in a shift schedule (14 days on, 14 days off)
• 5+ years of experience in an Enterprise IT environment
• Experience in Windows Server administration
• Experience in security hardening of servers and maintaining systems to defined security standards
• Anti-virus and patch management of servers
• Prior experience with offshore platforms is preferred

Additional Responsibilities:

• Provide support for on-call escalations and perform root cause analysis of given issues
• Independently resolve tickets within agreed SLA of ticket volume and time
• Adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Work on value-added activities such as knowledge base updates and management, training freshers, and coaching analysts
• Ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through first-call resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or reopen cases
