About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Hometown Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions, counting, labeling, and packaging prescription drugs and supplies
  • Input patient data and medication orders accurately and efficiently
  • Submit prescriptions for third-party billing and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
  • Assist in ordering, stocking, and maintaining an inventory of prescription medications, over-the-counter items, and necessary supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting and assisting customers in person and via phone
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to learn and understand patient care services
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year of pharmacy experience or training as a technician (preferred)
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds
