We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Pathwell Health. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating patient care needs related to treating speech and language disorders, and functional training in communication, swallowing, and cognitive impairments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patient's level of function by applying diagnostic and prognostic functional ability tests.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient's communication and swallowing skills.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Therapy or Speech-language Pathology.
  • Current licensure in Speech Therapy in Virginia.
  • Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a large team.
  • Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing, and documentation.
Work Environment:

The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a home health setting, providing services to patients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
