JOB OVERVIEW
- Full-time, permanent role available
- Engage in a dynamic Urgent Care environment offering a wide range of family medicine services, addressing both acute and chronic health issues
- Physicians can cultivate their practice within their communities, ensuring ongoing care for the families they serve.
- The selected candidates will be appointed as Associate Medical Directors, with additional opportunities for Area and Regional Medical Director roles available.
- Clinic hours are from 8 AM to 8 PM on weekdays, 8 AM to 8 PM on Saturdays, and 8 AM to 5 PM on Sundays, with 12-hour shifts on weekdays and 9-hour shifts on Sundays.
- Physicians will have the flexibility to design their schedules, provided they meet a minimum requirement of 163 hours per month.
- Each provider is expected to work 21 weekend hours monthly, included in the 163 hours.
- Willingness to work some evenings and at least one weekend per month is required.
- Candidates should be comfortable in a procedure-focused urgent care setting, performing common procedures such as lacerations, incision and drainage, x-rays, drug screenings, and routine family medicine care. Each clinic is equipped with a 2-bed triage area and approximately 7-15 examination rooms, along with lab facilities, Digital X-ray, and EKG capabilities.
- Collaborate with a team that includes one physician, one or two mid-level practitioners (NP or PA), two lab technicians, and several front-office staff, all overseen by a center manager.
- Average patient volume is approximately four patients per hour.
- No clinic calls on days off or hospital rounding responsibilities.
- Benefit from an excellent payer mix in the area, with no Medicare or Medicaid involvement.
- Experience a physician-led organization where employed physicians have a voice in operational decisions and can contribute to ongoing protocols.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Employed position with competitive compensation
- Hourly wage of $ /hour, equating to $ k for a full-time physician working 2080 hours annually
- Quarterly bonus potential of $7,500 based on quality metrics, totaling $30,000 annually.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including malpractice coverage ($2 million), health and dental insurance for the entire family, non-matching 401(K), and a $2,500 CME allowance. Reimbursement for TX License, DEA, and DPS fees.
- Paid time off accrual:
- Years 1-3 = 3 weeks; 4th year = 4 weeks; 5th year and beyond = 5 weeks.
- Additional benefits include a $250K life insurance policy and a robust disability insurance plan.
- Relocation assistance is also provided.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Practice (or in the process of certification)
