We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at The Menta Education Group. As a School Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our students.
Responsibilities- Provide first aid care and medically prescribed services to students
- Obtain and review consents for medication administration in school, documenting each instance
- Maintain security of school health supplies and instruct students in health education
- Record immunizations, health findings, and other relevant health information
- Coordinate and communicate with administrative staff, teachers, and other related service staff as needed
- Develop Individual Health Care plans for students with allergies
- Current/Active Registered Nurse licensure
- Considerable knowledge of medical and mental health disorders and subsequent treatment
- Working knowledge of public health problems and procedures for treatment in coordination with other health and social service agencies
- Working knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations affecting the delivery of school health services
- Medical, Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Insurance Programs
- 10 Month School Position with 12 Month Semi-Monthly Pay
