Job Summary

Oceaneering Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Facility Security Officer to oversee the industrial security program for our OTECH Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Federal Government and company security policies and procedures.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Coordinating and monitoring security aspects of the DOD and other industrial security programs
  • Maintaining personnel security records and databases
  • Facilitating security clearance investigations and access termination procedures
  • Providing security support and direction to program personnel
  • Developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and documentation
  • Facilitating annual inspections and self-inspections
  • Providing security education, training, and awareness to program personnel
  • Operating and maintaining a document control accountability system
  • Supporting all other security disciplines for DCSA and special programs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An associate degree in a related field or bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • An active security clearance at Secret level, with Top Secret preferred
  • At least 5 years of work experience in industrial security as a Facility Security Officer
  • Strong knowledge of the NISPOM, DoD SAP Manuals, ICDs, and TEMPEST
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
