About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Director of Aquatics at Timber Ridge Lodge in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Timber Ridge Lodge Waterpark team, ensuring a safe and clean environment for guests.
  • Assist the Director of the Waterpark in managing day-to-day operations, including supervising staff, maintaining facilities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Act as the Director in their absence, making key decisions and taking charge of the Waterpark.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Monitor and maintain water quality, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Respond to emergency situations, providing leadership and direction to staff as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, supporting the overall success of the Waterpark and Timber Ridge Lodge.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers.
  • Knowledge of waterpark management, including safety regulations, water quality management, and staff supervision.
  • Certifications in Aquatics, Lifeguard Instructor, and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) are highly desirable.
