Senior Archaeologist/Principal Investigator/Program Manager

Stantec is seeking a highly skilled Senior Archaeologist/Principal Investigator/Program Manager to join our team in the southeastern United States. As a key member of our cultural resources practice, you will be responsible for managing cultural resources projects and working collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality results to our clients.

About the Role

This is a career opportunity for a Senior Archaeologist/Principal Investigator/Program Manager to lead cultural resources projects and work collaboratively with our team in the southeastern United States. The successful candidate will have a strong background in archaeology and cultural resources management, with experience in managing projects and leading teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage cultural resources projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Lead and collaborate with our team to deliver high-quality results to our clients.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to junior staff members.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in archaeology or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in cultural resources management, with a strong background in archaeology.
  • Proven experience in project management, team leadership, and client relationship building.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of cultural resources laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
