Key Responsibilities- Patient Care: Provide compassionate and personalized care to animals, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Diagnostic Support: Assist in obtaining radiographs, running in-house diagnostic testing, and providing IV fluid therapy.
- Surgical Support: Assist in surgical procedures and provide post-operative care to ensure a smooth recovery.
- Client Education: Educate clients on animal care, behavior, and health, promoting a strong bond between pets and their owners.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with veterinarians, veterinary assistants, and other support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of veterinary technician experience, with certification preferred.
- Attendance: Ability to adhere to our attendance policy, ensuring consistent and reliable care for our patients.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 40 pounds, maintain accurate records, and perform nursing skills such as phlebotomy.
- Communication: Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to understand and communicate with clients, veterinarians, and other staff members.
