Job Title: General Education Teacher

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Education Teacher to join our school in California. The ideal candidate will create and implement engaging lesson plans, provide instruction that supports diverse learning needs, and foster a positive classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Lesson Plans: Create and implement lesson plans that align with state standards and school curriculum.
  • Provide Differentiated Instruction: Provide instruction that meets the varying needs of students.
  • Foster a Positive Classroom Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and participation.
  • Assess and Monitor Student Progress: Assess and monitor student progress, making adjustments to instruction as needed.
  • Communicate with Parents and Staff: Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators about student progress and needs.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues: Collaborate with colleagues to support the school's mission and goals.
  • Participate in School-Wide Events: Participate in school-wide events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records and reports on student performance and attendance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • Teaching Credential: Valid California teaching credential (Multiple Subject or appropriate single subject credential).
  • Classroom Management Skills: Strong classroom management skills.
  • Diverse Learning Needs: Ability to effectively engage students with diverse learning needs.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a classroom setting preferred but not required.
