About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Rydal Park, a vibrant senior living community. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and friendly experience for our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process resident purchases with accuracy and efficiency, providing a positive point-of-sale experience.
  • Manage cash drawers, reconcile transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, and visitors, fostering a welcoming and friendly environment.
  • Assist with other duties as needed, such as stocking merchandise or answering resident inquiries.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to deliver exceptional care.
Requirements
  • High school Level diploma or equivalent knowledge is a prerequisite for entry into this profession.
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • ServSafe certification and/or Food Handlers Certification or enrollment in the certification course is preferred.
  • Strong cash handling and point-of-sale skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents from diverse backgrounds.
  • A positive attitude, a patient demeanor, and a genuine desire to serve others.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
