Job Description

As a CDL-A Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of metal materials to and from our client facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a CDL-A class end dump or super roll off to transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies.
  • Safely load and unload metal materials using appropriate equipment and secure the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
  • Perform manual tarping if necessary.
  • Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries, interacting with customers and handling inquiries or concerns in a polite and helpful manner.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL-A driver's license with a clean MVR and Medical Card.
  • Must be physically fit to hand tarp 40 and 53yd bins.
  • Experience driving 18 speed, manual transmission is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an CDL-A Driver, preferably in a transportation or logistics setting.
  • Excellent driving skills and ability to navigate various road and traffic conditions.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform loading and unloading activities as required.
  • Familiarity with metal recycling processes and materials is an asset.
