Clinical Education Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Education Specialist to oversee Clinical and Education Services activities for our local service area. As a representative of AMR, you will engage with local committees, medical and training institutions, and other related agencies to promote our services and develop education programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in recruitment through involvement in area EMS classes and career days.
  • Develop education processes, including course objectives, examinations, and manuals for use as lesson plans.
  • Conduct and coordinate National Registry examinations.
  • Conduct orientation classes, IV certification courses, ACLS/PALS instructor certification courses, CPR/AED/National Safety Council first aid instructor courses, and certification courses on Lifepak.
  • Oversee clinical requirements related to contracts, agreements, and employee certifications and vaccinations.
  • Track and review events in response to complaints and/or compliments relating to medical performance.
  • Identify, develop, and implement quality improvement (QI) programs.
  • Responsible for the Field Training Officers (FTOs) and clinical aspects of field performance.
  • Conduct clinical call reviews and investigations and quality assurance investigations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • State Paramedic License.
  • BTLS, ACLS, and PALS Provider or Instructor certification.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the direct delivery of pre-hospital advanced life support as a Paramedic.
  • Applicable State Instructor/Coordinator certification.
