Job OverviewProctor Productions is seeking skilled craftsmen to design and build experiential displays for the event and trade-show industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and fabrication, with experience in creating structures from raw materials. The role involves laminating, paint/stain finishing, lighting installation, and general construction/fabrication. The successful candidate will be able to read and interpret blueprint drawings, work well in a team, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with computer skills, including checking email, logging time, and checking work tasks. Strong time management and prioritization skills are also essential for this role.Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Fabricate structures for events, trade-shows, and permanent installations from raw materials
  • Laminating and paint/stain finishing
  • Lighting installation
  • General construction/fabrication
Qualifications:
  • Trade-show experience is a plus
  • 2+ years carpentry/fabrication experience
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings
  • A positive attitude and ability to work with a team
  • Problem-solving adaptability
  • Computer skills required to check email, log time, and check work tasks
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
