Advanced Nurse Leader

As a key member of the Prisma Health team, the Advanced Nurse Leader will oversee the clinical functions and activities of the department or group of practices. This role requires a strong leader who can implement and interpret policies, standards, and regulations for personnel, patients, and families.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Decision-Making
Partner with operational and physician leadership to make informed decisions around clinical process, clinical workforce budget, and the purchase of clinical equipment. Ensure these decisions are compliant with regulatory standards and organizational financial goals.
Team ManagementDirect the selection, performance appraisal, and work allocation of each clinical team member. Foster a positive and productive work environment that promotes quality patient care and employee satisfaction.
Training and DevelopmentDevelop and implement training programs for clinical team members in conjunction with the Education department. Ensure that direct reports and other practice staff receive pertinent clinical information to deliver quality services.
Quality ImprovementParticipate in hospital/medical staff committee meetings as required. Assist in establishing quality levels and standards and assess activities to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements- Education
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field.
Experience3 years of experience in nursing, with ambulatory experience preferred.
Certifications/Registrations/LicensesLicensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina.
Preferred Qualifications- Specialty Experience
Experience in a specialty area is preferred.
Supervisory ExperienceSupervisory experience is preferred.
Certification in Specialty AreaCertification in a specialty area is preferred.
