Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner II to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care services to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy.
  • Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of employment.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
  • State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
  • RRT/Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) certification.
  • Vocational school graduate or certificate in respiratory care.
