Job Overview

Zebra Technologies is seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Hardware Engineering team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative electrical systems for our cutting-edge products. Your expertise in electrical engineering, combined with your experience in hardware development, will enable you to make significant contributions to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Electrical Systems: You will design, develop, and test electrical systems for our products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will work closely with our electrical, mechanical, firmware, software/firmware driver, and system software teams to define, develop, and test electrical systems.
  • Evaluate New Technologies: You will evaluate new technologies and develop new features for our current and future products, ensuring they align with our business goals and objectives.
  • Develop and Implement Electrical Designs: You will develop and implement electrical designs for our products, ensuring they meet the necessary regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering: You must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • ECAD Software Experience: You must have experience with ECAD software, such as Allegro, Eagle, or Altium.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You must have strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering: A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with Linux: Experience with Linux and embedded systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Signal Integrity and Power Integrity: Knowledge of signal integrity and power integrity is a plus.
