Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN to join our team as a Supervisor RN Hyperbaric at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. As a Supervisor RN Hyperbaric, you will be responsible for the coordination of clinical activities and safety roles of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Department. This includes patient care assessment, patient care planning and implementation, and working on patient care quality improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare, educate, and orient patients about the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.
  • Administer the hyperbaric oxygen therapy as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Provider to the patient.
  • Making appropriate data entries for daily hyperbaric treatments and wound care clinic visits, and keeping complete and accurate patient records.
  • Operate and maintain the hyperbaric chamber(s) and other hyperbaric support oxygen systems as required.
  • Participate in the safety program, such as conducting safety drills.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT).
  • Registered Nurse.
  • Certified Hyperbaric Specialist.
  • Associate Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma, Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • 1 year of RN experience in Wound Care.
  • One year of acute care experience.
  • Wound Care/Ostonomy and Hyperbaric experience preferred.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • 1-3 years experience prior Supervisory Role.
