Job Summary

As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring high-quality images are captured.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners and other diagnostic imaging devices, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining protocols and positioning patients for optimal image capture, to ensure accurate and efficient imaging results.
  • Ensure high-quality images are captured, adhering to established protocols and guidelines, to support accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care, promoting a culture of teamwork and communication.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information and imaging results, to support quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent, demonstrating expertise in diagnostic imaging and patient care.
  • Experience working in a diagnostic imaging environment, preferably in a travel or per diem capacity, showcasing adaptability and flexibility.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate imaging equipment, to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, to meet the needs of our clients and patients.
