Job Title: Heavy Equipment Technician

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Diedre Moire Corporation, Inc. in Austin, TX.

Job Summary:

The Heavy Equipment Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, including industrial cranes and conveyors, to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair water cooled turbocharged diesel engines for large crawler cranes.
  • Repair or replace hydraulic high-pressure piston pumps.
  • Maintain boom components for telescoping and welded steel lattice booms.
  • Install and repair attachable counterweight systems to increase capacity of large lattice boom crawlers.
  • Repair various hydraulic systems, including axial piston hydraulic motors, reservoirs, and variable displacement piston pumps.
  • Provide training for equipment operation when needed and recommend alternative solutions for different capability jobs.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
