Work Schedule:
This position requires a commitment of 36 hours, primarily during the second shift, with a rotation every fourth weekend. You will alternate between five-day and four-day work weeks.

Key Responsibilities:
The Clinical Pharmacist plays a vital role in supporting the mission of our department and health system by:
  • Identifying, preventing, and resolving medication-related issues to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Performing all essential functions of a registered pharmacist, including accurate dispensing and clinical interactions with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Supervising pharmacy technicians and interns to ensure optimal workflow and accuracy.

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will:
  • Engage in pharmacy operations, maintaining proficiency in both central and satellite pharmacy areas.
  • Oversee medication inventories and ensure the precise preparation and dispensing of patient-specific medication doses.
  • Conduct thorough medication order reviews and patient monitoring to prevent medication-related complications.
  • Provide patient-centered care services, promoting safe and effective medication therapy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy, or an equivalent advanced pharmacy degree.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, or PALS.
- Valid State Pharmacy License.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency.
