Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to join our team at United Surgical Partners. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain operating rooms, including setting up equipment and supplies, and ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are available.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that all patients receive high-quality care and that all procedures are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory management and supply ordering.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Diploma or Associates Degree from an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred.
  • BLS certification required; AST certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing over 50 pounds and to stand, bend, and stoop for prolonged periods.
Working Conditions

This position requires working in a clean, well-lighted area with occasional exposure to unpleasant environmental situations. The ability to deal with stress and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment is essential.
