About the Role:

The Care Transition Nurse - Patient Care Specialist under direct supervision performs daily cleaning tasks for patient and resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and any other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department and in accordance with Community Hospital of San Bernardino standards and objectives.

This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Community Hospital of San Bernardino. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support Community Hospital of San Bernardino strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement process and activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks for patient and resident rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, clinic areas, and any other areas assigned.
  • Follow standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department and Community Hospital of San Bernardino standards and objectives.
  • Support the Mission of Community Hospital of San Bernardino and demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.
  • Participate in the quality improvement process and activities.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in commercial/healthcare cleaning preferred.
