We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to join our team at Ascension Seton Northwest. As a Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of nurses in the Recovery Room PACU - PreOp PreSurgery department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the activities, workflow, and nursing resources of assigned nursing units.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within the unit.
- Conduct hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating of staff.
- Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
- Monitor and adhere to budget.
- Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases, and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Education:
- Bachelor's in nursing required.
- Work Experience:
- 3 years of experience required.
- 1 year of leadership or management experience required.
- 3-5 years PACU/PreOp RN experience
- 1-2 years RN leadership experience
- BSN
- BLS
