**Salary:** $55,000 - $65,000 per year (dependent on experience and location). This salary range reflects the estimated compensation for this role based on industry standards and regional factors.

**Job Description:

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate communication between deaf or hard of hearing students and their teachers, peers, and school staff through sign language interpretation.
  • Provide interpretation during virtual classroom settings, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Collaborate with teachers and special education teams to develop an understanding of each student's needs and provide appropriate accommodations.

**Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Current certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (RID, NIC, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in educational settings, preferably with students in K-12.
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism.
  • Deep understanding of deaf culture.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
