As a Clinical Pharmacist Compliance Specialist at TriHealth, you will play a critical role in ensuring that sterile and non-sterile compounding practices meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Under the direction of the Pharmacy Compounding Coordinators and Director of Pharmacy Operations, you will be responsible for monitoring and auditing compounding workflows to ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation statutes/standards.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and monitor compounding workflows to ensure compliance with policies and standards
- Analyze and evaluate compounding workflows and processes to identify areas for improvement
- Ensure the competency of all individuals involved in sterile and non-sterile compounding
- Provide training and education to team members on sterile and non-sterile compounding practices
- Collaborate with site leadership to create Corrective and Preventive Action Plans for identified areas of non-compliance
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
- 4-5 years of experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy or infusion center pharmacy
- Sterile compounding experience required
- Compounded Sterile Preparations Pharmacy Specialty Certification (BCSCP) required within 2 years of hire and maintained while in position
