Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laborer to join our team at Masonite. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide training and guidance to junior-level workers to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Work extended hours during the week and occasional weekends as needed to meet production demands.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Attend training programs offered by the company to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure seamless collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor to support the team's goals and objectives.
Single and Doubles Responsibilities
  • Ensure the maintenance of equipment to prevent downtime and optimize production.
  • Meet production goals as established by the Production Lead and Production Manager, working collaboratively to achieve targets.
  • Identify product quality concerns and work with the station lead to address these issues, ensuring high-quality products.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized, adhering to company standards.
  • Unload drying racks as instructed by the Production Lead, ensuring efficient production processes.
  • Produce up to 100 parts per day, meeting or exceeding production targets.
Essential Physical and Mental Requirements
  • Lift 40 pounds up to 100 times per day, demonstrating physical stamina and endurance.
  • Bend, lift, and move drying racks, requiring flexibility and strength.
  • Keep up with the speed of the production lead to complete daily requirements, demonstrating adaptability and focus.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with temperatures ranging from 70°F to 95°F, requiring resilience and adaptability.
