Position Overview:

The Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing the maintenance operations across multiple non-incineration facilities. This position is responsible for managing all maintenance activities, including both building and equipment-related tasks, with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of maintenance tasks, including preventative and corrective actions.
  2. Manage maintenance budgets, including labor and repair costs, in collaboration with operations leadership.
  3. Utilize the SAP PM system to track equipment history, implement preventative maintenance practices, and address equipment malfunctions through root cause analysis.
  4. Oversee small-scale capital improvement projects, working closely with local operations and compliance teams to ensure timely and budget-friendly execution.
  5. Conduct regular assessments of process systems and equipment, generating work orders and assigning tasks based on priority.
  6. Champion safety initiatives and adhere to established safety protocols, including LOTO and electrical safety measures.
  7. Manage troubleshooting and repairs of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  8. Supervise the use of power tools and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and safety standards are upheld.
  9. Coordinate the installation and maintenance of piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will possess an Associate's degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of five years in a management role within a technical environment. Strong leadership skills in a multi-site context are essential, as is the ability to perform hands-on maintenance tasks.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems is required, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Certifications:

Valid Driver's License and relevant certifications in boiler operation, welding, or electrical systems are preferred.
