Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Trail Ridge Dental Care. As a key member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience throughout their dental journey
• Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care
• Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments, utilizing advanced technology such as iTero 3D scanners and digital photography
• Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during a wide range of procedures, adhering to state dental practice acts
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record-keeping, ensuring seamless office workflow
• Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and OSHA/CDC recommendations
• Manage supply and inventory levels, expediting orders as needed
• Collaborate with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office efficiency

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as a dental assistant, with a strong background in dental assisting school certification in IA
• Proficiency in Dentrix or other dental software, with experience in iTero scanning and OSHA training
• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds, with prolonged periods of sitting and standing
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with a focus on patient comfort and education
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care
